Sr. Structural Analysis
Engineer

Duties:

Perform structural analysis engineering work for commercial aircraft primary and secondary composite structure.

Perform detailed sizing and static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of assigned engineering detailed parts and assemblies.

Calculate and provide requisite property data for internal loads finite element model generation.

Extract and utilize finite element analysis internal loads data.

Produce stress finite element models to support sizing and structural analysis.

Produce structural analysis substantiation strength check notes/report.

Work under minimal direction..

Experience:

Minimum 9 years of experience required for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering from an accredited course of study.

Minimum 7 years of experience required for candidates with a Master's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering from an accredited course of study.


Skills:

Fluent technical English.

Proficiency with hand calculation for FE analysis validation.

Proficiency with FE computer codes (e.g. Ansys, Abaqus, NASTRAN, LISA FEA).



Sr. Structural Design
Engineer

Duties

Develop, maintain and modify structural component designs, using 3D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups and/or production operations.

Produce 2D drafts in support of 3D models for downstream activities (upon Customers’ requirements) for both metallic and composite structure (ply-books).

Assist with investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Work under minimal direction.

Experience:

Minimum 9 years of experience required for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering from an accredited course of study.

Minimum 7 years of experience required for candidates with a Master's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering from an accredited course of study.


Skills:

Fluent technical English.

Proficiency with simple hand calculation for “rule-of-thumb” structural sizing.

Proficiency with CAD computer codes (e.g. CATIA V5, Creo).
